Make a soft, cuddly fleece blanket to snuggle with or drag around behind you like Linus! Its easy, doesn't require special tools or skills and makes a great, personal gift! You need two pieces of fleece, about 1 1/4 yd. for a baby size, 2 to 2 1/2 yd. each for a throw size, a pair of scissors or rotary cutter, a disappearing marker and something to measure with.
- Trim the salvage edges from both pieces of fabric.
- Lay the fabric down, wrong sides together, and trim to the same size and square.
- With a disappearing pen, mark about 4" from the edge on all four sides.
- Cut out corners
- Either measure about 1 1/2" sections and mark.......
- Or make a cardboard template and cut strips through both thicknesses of fabric up to the marked line.
- Tie a double knot in each strip being careful not to pull too tight.
- My granddaughter loves this fleece. She especially likes the tigers, grrrrrrrr! Cute and easy!
