- Lightly spray each 1" section with a working hairspray from scalp to ends.
- close your flat iron on base of the section close to the scalp.
- Grab the loose ends and wrap them up behind the iron and over the top next to the clamped section.
- Keeping the iron in it's original, upright position slowly pull the flat iron out through the length of the hair at a 90 degree angle to the head.
- keep going...
- almost there...
- Sproing!
- Alternate the curl pattern to create a more natural look by sliding out slightly from the scalp, rolling the iron a quarter turn toward the scalp, and flipping the tail under the iron and back towards the scalp again before sliding through the ends.
- like so
- Work up to the top of the crown this way before moving on to the front sections.
- I like to curl the front away from the face. To do this, take an angled section from the temple to the top of the ear and curl counterclockwise, or wrapping the ends over toward the scalp.
- Glamorous, eh?
- Gently rake your fingers through to loosen the curls.
- Lift the top section of hair at the scalp and spray just the ends of the curls.
- Final touches - So pretty!
